The Spleen Center

Updated: Sep 6, 2023

In Human Design, the Spleen Center is one of the three awareness centers in the BodyGraph, and it plays a vital role in our overall well-being. It is refereed to as our "feel good" center. It is what senses whether we feel good, or not.

The Spleen Center is associated with the immune system, intuition, survival instincts, and the ability to sense danger.

People with an active spleen center tend to have a heightened awareness of their surroundings, and they may be more prone to worry about their health and safety and may naturally gravitate to collecting their own solutions to address problems and resolves issues.

Defined Spleen Center individuals may experience sensations such as tingling or a sense of unease when their body detects something that could be harmful. This intuitive sense can be especially helpful in making decisions about our health and well-being. As this center is also considered the center of "fear" those with defined Spleen Centers can be filled with fear and promote it within others.

When the Spleen Center is undefined or inactive, people may struggle with health issues and may have a harder time trusting their intuition and instincts. They may also be more prone to being conditioned by fear, and worry about their survival and safety, so they will hold onto other people, places, jobs, or activities that bring them a sense of protection, even when it's not actually good for them to do so.

To support a healthy Spleen Center, it’s important to prioritize self-care and develop habits that support the immune system. This includes getting enough rest, eating a healthy diet, staying hydrated, and exercising regularly.
