Manifestor Anger - The Issue of Control

Updated: Apr 18, 2023

Manifestors are one of the four types in Human Design and are known for their ability to initiate action and bring ideas into reality.

They are often natural leaders and have a powerful energy that can be felt by those around them.

However, when a Manifestor operates from their Not-Self, they can experience a range of challenges.

The Not-Self of a Manifestor is the feeling of anger, often as a result of being controlled or restricted by others. This can manifest as a deep sense of irritation when they are not able to take action on their own terms. When a Manifestor is operating from their Not-Self, they may feel like they are constantly being pushed or pulled in different directions, which can lead to a sense of powerlessness.

One of the key ways that Manifestors can recognize when they are operating from their Not-Self is by paying attention to their decision-making process. When a Manifestor is operating from their true nature, they make decisions clearly and confidently, and will naturally inform others as a way to eliminate resistance and reduce fear. However, when they are operating from their Not-Self, they may feel indecisive and unsure of themselves, which can lead to a lack of action and the choice to not inform others, which will often provoke mistrust, leading to a perpetuation of control.

Another common challenge for Manifestors operating from their Not-Self is the tendency to isolate themselves from others. When a Manifestor feels like they are being controlled or restricted, they may retreat into themselves as a way of protecting their sense of freedom. This can lead to feelings of loneliness and disconnection, which can further exacerbate their sense of anger and discontentment with their life.

To overcome the Not-Self theme of anger for a Manifestor, it is important for them to learn how to communicate their needs, desires, and intentions clearly to others while informing before taking action. By doing so, they can avoid feeling like they are being controlled or restricted and can instead take action on their own terms and conditions.

It is also important for Manifestors to cultivate a strong sense of self-awareness and to pay attention to their decision-making process. By doing so, they can ensure that they are making decisions from a place of authenticity and not from a sense of rage or anger.

In conclusion, the Not-Self of a Manifestor in Human Design is the feeling of being controlled or restricted by others that can lead to deep unresolved anger issues and the tendency to self-isolate.

When a Manifestor operates from their Not-Self, they may feel indecisive, isolated, and hard to access. However, by cultivating self-awareness and learning to communicate their needs clearly, a Manifestor can overcome their Not-Self and operate from a place of authenticity and empowerment, leading to peace both within and without.
