Individual Interpretation

 

An individual chart interpretation is a perfect way to begin your journey with Human Design.

Profile

​

Understand your unique personality and unconscious tendencies, the role you're here to play, how others perceive you, and who you're here to become. Profile is deeply related to one's purpose in life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Type

​

Your energy system "construct" and subsequent aura dynamic. Type is a byproduct of your overall design, and is determined by the channels and centers you have defined or undefined in your chart. Each type has a different strategy for decision making that help to reduce "resistance" and lead to the fulfillment of one's signature. There are four main Types: Generators, Projectors, Manifestors, and Reflectors. Therefore, it can be understood that there are four main types of human designs.

 

For example, a Projector only has "projected" channels defined in their chart, no "manifested" or "generated" channels. This leads to a Focused & Absorbing aura that is best suited for guidance and recognition, rather than initiation and impact (Manifestor) or work and response (Generator). When a Projector honors their strategy of "wait for the invitation", they are in fact waiting for others to recognize their projected channel(s) for what that energy may bring to the relationship / interaction.

By understanding your Type, you can begin to release the negative effects of conditioning and step into a correct and fulfilling process of  being "yourself". Knowing your Type can be a liberating realization.

Signature

Your "reward" for living correctly as your Type. Signature is a key to knowing you're on-track and operating as you're meant to operate. Each Type has their own unique Signature that is directly related to their aura dynamic.

Projectors recognize energetic potential in others and guide processes towards Success.

 

Generators build and empower with their expansive energetic capabilities for sustained effort and the nurturing of others leading to Satisfaction.

 

Manifestors provide the spark that ignites the flame within others. Initiating correctly and informing those around them of their intentions before taking action leads to Peace both within and without.

 

Reflectors experience a reflective and shifting perspective through the sampling of others and the universe around them. With no consistently defined energy in any particular way, Surprises bring joy to the unexpected.

Not-self Theme

​

One essential benefit of Human Design is to offer you simple strategies for self-empowered decision making that help to alleviate your Not-self theme.

 

If you find yourself experiencing Bitterness, Frustration, Anger, or Disappointment more often than your Signature, it’s likely as a result of your Not-self overriding your better judgement in decision making when it matters the most.

Projectors experience Bitterness when they try to invite themselves or work too hard with little recognition from those around them.

 

Generators experience Frustration when they attempt to repeatedly initiate rather than Respond to situations or challenges as they actually arise.

​

Manifestors experience Anger when they feel held back, constrained, or prevented from taking creative independent action.

 

Reflectors experience Disappointment when they become too overly attached to a potential, expectation, or sense of permanent identity.

 

Understanding the nature of your Not-self Theme, and how it disrupts your life, helps to create a very clear understanding between who you are, who you're not, and how to move forward with confidence.

Strategy

Human Design offers insight into the inner workings of your unique energetic potential, and in order to respect this potential, you're encouraged to experiment with decision making strategies that compliment it.

Whether it is Waiting for Invitations, Responding, Informing, or Waiting a Lunar Cycle these simple strategies are designed to help you navigate important life decisions with the least amount of resistance, confusion, blame, or regret.

 

Projectors Wait for Invitations that exercise their gifts for recognition, guidance, and systems mastery to help hold it all together.

Generators Respond to the ever shifting flow of life according to their unique theme of availability, sharing and empowering others with their stamina and power.

Manifestors Inform others of their intentions, leading to the fulfillment of a certain vision, task, or objective with the least amount of resistance.

Reflectors Wait a Lunar Cycle to gain clarity and wisdom over time before making a critical decision for where to be, where to go, and who to be around long-term.

The application of your Strategy in decision making is a step forward in releasing you from the grasp of your Not-self construct and into a rewarding life filled with the benefits of your Signature.

Inner Authority

​

In alliance with your Strategy for decision making, your Inner Authority helps to confirm the validity of your choices in life ensuring that you are remaining true to your Self and aligning with your uniqueness.

 

Inner Authority is a process unique to each individual and is ultimately within us to serve as a verification method to achieve the experience of our Signature.

 

There are seven variations of Inner Authority:

Emotional: Clarity develops over time as one processes decisions through their wave

​

Sacral: A responsive authority that is open to life based upon its themes of availability

​

Splenic: A protective instinct and intuition for survival in the moment

​

Ego: A wilful capacity to perform supportive or self-empowering tasks (competitive)

​

Self: A spontaneous verbal translation of the unique identity or direction of the person

​

Sounding Board: Sharing your perspective with the right people is a key to Success

​

Lunar: Wait a full 28 day transit cycle of the Moon

Definition Structure

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Understanding the nature of your Definition, in combination with exercising your Strategy & Inner Authority, helps you to understand how your energy is "linked up" within the matrix of your design. Knowing your definition structure will give you an added layer of context for how you're wired, and can assist to reduce a very specific theme: blame of self and others.

 

This tendency to place responsibility upon oneself for a misdeed, failure, or undesirable outcome is an integral component to how your Not-self negatively affects you and creates both inner and outer turmoil and difficulty.

Synthesized and integrated with the unique characteristics of your BodyGraph, your Definition Structure can be a very powerful tool in helping you to release yourself from negative obsessions.

 

In addition to helping you understand and release yourself from the various forms of blame, Definition is a remarkably accurate way to see how you're designed to collaborate with others and benefit from healthy shared interactions, when you enter into them through Strategy & Inner Authority.

Defined / Undefined Centers

​

Each of the 9 Centers in a chart represent very specific energetic processes and themes. By understanding which of your Centers are defined, versus which centers are open or undefined, you can begin to recognize how your energy is designed to:

- think

- conceptualize

- communicate 

- orient / love / embody a role or direction

- work and connect with others intimately

- handle the pressures and stresses of life

- maintain alertness and process fear

- handle the waves of emotions from within or without

- interact on the material plane and feel centered about ones worth

Channels

"A quantum created by the joining of two Gates; pathways that carry or link and transform energy between the nine centers in the BodyGraph."

Channels represent Life Force energy that is consistent and permanent within you.

 

Channels are created when two energies (Gates) come together and connect between opposing Centers (the shapes in your chart).

 

Unless you’re a Reflector, your BodyGraph will have at least one Channel consistently defined.

 

An exploration of your Channels, in many ways, can be one of the most insightful topics, as Channels represent the core of your True Self and point directly to what you're here to be, do, or manifest.

 

When you combine the information from the previous topics, with a deeper understanding our your Channels, you begin to realize the truly unique and incredibly dynamic context available to you through the study of your chart. Knowing what Channels you have defined helps you to know when you're actually "living" as yourself.

True Self / Not-self Description

By applying the decision making techniques of Strategy and Inner Authority, you will already be well on your way to transforming your life. In addition, it can be a truly empowering experience to receive a synthesized description of your True Self / Not-self, as seen in your chart. Knowing how you're wired and designed to operate (True Self), versus where you are susceptible to the forces and influences of conditioning (Not-self), further elevates your total Self awareness and can be a deeply validating experience. This final section is where the real artistry of interpretation comes into play, as we weave together the various components of your chart into a sequenced description that will help to bring clarity and insight to the specific qualities of your design.

 

Connection Interpretation

There are plenty of benefits associated with learning more about your unique design, and how to exercise your Strategy and Inner Authority as an individual. However, that's not all the system has to offer! In addition, you can also combine two charts together to see how the energy between two people connects to form a dynamic relationship.

A connection interpretation includes a review of each individual, plus an in depth synthesis of the various connections, and newly formed channels that often arise, when two people are together.

 

This information can provide an outstanding level of insight into who brings what to the relationship, and how each person can remain true to themselves even while taking in the conditioning from the other.

A connection interpretation is especially useful for understanding the deeper nuances of:
